11.09.2009 Craig L. Rascoe Named Chief Operating Officer of Williams Mullen RICHMOND, Va. – Williams Mullen announces that Craig L. Rascoe, a business attorney and chair of the firm’s tax section, will become Chief Operating Officer of the firm on Feb. 1, 2010. In this role he will oversee the operations of the firm throughout Virginia, North Carolina, the District of Columbia and London.  

Mr. Rascoe joined Williams Mullen in 1993. Prior to that he served as the Director of Corporate Taxes at Specialty Coatings International, Inc., a multinational Fortune 500 manufacturing company, where he was responsible for all worldwide tax planning and compliance functions. Prior to that, Mr. Rascoe was in practice for a total of 12 years as a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand and Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. Over the past several years Craig has served on the board of directors of the firm

Mr. Rascoe’s practice concentrates on tax planning for businesses and individuals. He has experience with structuring business entities, acquisitions and dispositions of businesses and other business-related income tax issues. He also handles executive compensation matters. His clients include both publicly traded and privately held businesses.
