10.30.2008 Edward J. Coyne III Joins Williams Mullen’s Wilmington Office

Williams Mullen announced today that Edward “Trip” J. Coyne has joined the firm’s Wilmington office as an associate. Mr. Coyne focuses his practice on business litigation and has successfully represented clients throughout North Carolina. Mr. Coyne has experience in an array of commercial settings. He has argued bench trials and motions, worked with commercial builders, negotiated commercial lease disputes, and defended and prosecuted corporate control and securities matters.

Mr. Coyne is admitted to practice in North Carolina, Georgia, and Florida.

Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Coyne served for two terms as a Law Clerk to the Honorable John R. Jolly, Jr., Special Superior Court Judge for Complex Business Cases, of the North Carolina Business Court.

Mr. Coyne received a bachelor’s degree from Appalachian State University, where he was a member of the Omicron Delta Kappa honor society, and a juris doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Wake Forest Intellectual Property Law Journal.
