01.04.2022 Jim Head Certified as an Accredited Estate Planner by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils

Congratulations to Jim Head on being newly certified as an Accredited Estate Planner® by the National Association of Estate Planners & Councils (NAEPC). The AEP® designation is a graduate level, multi-disciplinary specialization in estate planning, obtained in addition to already recognized professional credentials within the various disciplines of estate planning.

The award recognizes estate planning professionals who meet stringent requirements of experience, knowledge, education, professional reputation and character. An AEP® designee must embrace the team concept of estate planning and adhere to the NAEPC Code of Ethics, as well as participate in an annual renewal and recertification process.

Jim is a partner at Williams Mullen, focusing his practice on the areas of estate planning, estate and trust administration, fiduciary litigation, tax, gift and estate tax controversy, business planning, charitable giving and general business law matters. Jim serves as a board member of the Northern Virginia Estate Planning Council and previously served as secretary (2018) and president (2019-2020). Additionally he is a member of the Washington, D.C.
