03.18.2008 John H. Turner, III Joins Williams Mullen in Richmond Richmond, VA – Williams Mullen announced today that tax attorney John Turner has joined the firm as partner in the Richmond office. His practice focuses on estate, gift, generation – skipping and fiduciary income taxation and estate and trust administration. Mr. Turner returned to Williams Mullen after serving as senior counsel for SunTrust Bank from 2004 to 2008.

He serves on the board of governors for the Trusts and Estates Section for the Virginia State Bar. He is also a member of the Virginia Bar Association, serving on the legislative committee of the Section of Wills, Trusts and Estates and is a member Section of Real Property, Trust and Probate Law with the American Bar Association. Mr. Turner is also the treasurer of the Trust Administrators Council and a frequent lecturer for Virginia CLE.

Mr. Turner received his law degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and his undergraduate degree from Hampden-Sydney College. He received his master of laws from the Georgetown University Law Center.
