07.06.2010 Robert C. Lawson Joins Williams Mullen’s Real Estate Team in Raleigh RALEIGH, N.C. – Williams Mullen announces that Robert C. Lawson has joined the firm as a senior associate in the firm’s Raleigh office. Mr. Lawson will be a member of the firm’s commercial real estate practice. He is a North Carolina Board Certified Specialist in Real Property Law. His practice focuses on all aspects and types of commercial real estate, including buyer and seller representation in real estate purchases; borrower and lender representation in commercial loans; condominium law; land development; commercial lease negotiation, drafting, evictions and collections; and commercial foreclosures.

“Robby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our real estate team in Raleigh,” said John M. Mercer, chair of the firm’s real estate and financial services section. “We are very excited to see what he brings to the table.”

Mr. Lawson received his B.A. from the University of Virginia and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law where he was Student Bar Association President, an executive member of the Moot Court Board, and Chief Justice of Phi Alpha Delta. He also received his M.B.A from Wake Forest University,  where he served as an executive member on the Student Government Association.
