02.03.2009 S. Scott Lieberman Joins Williams Mullen’s Norfolk Office NORFOLK, VA – Williams Mullen announces that S. Scott Lieberman has joined the firm’s Norfolk, Virginia office as an associate. Scott Lieberman focuses his practice on corporate and securities law matters. He has represented clients on public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations, and venture capital financing transactions. Mr. Lieberman has a significant amount of experience with international law firms drafting 1934 Act filings for public companies, and formation and governance documents for a wide array of corporate entities. Before working in private practice, Mr. Lieberman served as an attorney with the Division of Corporation Finance of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.

Mr. Lieberman is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. He is a member of the American Bar Association.  

Mr. Lieberman received his law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law, where he served as associate editor to The Business Lawyer. He earned his bachelor of science degree, cum laude, in accounting from the University of Maryland.
