04.12.2010 Seventh Circuit Holds that a District Court Must Conduct a Daubert Analysis Prior to Class Certification
In a per curiam opinion issued on April 7, 2010, the Seventh Circuit in Am. Honda Motor Co. v. Allen held that in those instances in which an expert’s opinion relates to the requirements for class certification a district court must conduct a Daubert analysis prior to deciding whether to certify a class.
