Williams Mullen Financial Services Attorney Bill Stauffer appointed to Fulton Bank’s Hampton Roads Advisory Board

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Bill Stauffer, a Partner in the firm’s Financial Services and Real Estate Litigation industry service groups, has been appointed to Fulton Bank’s Hampton Roads Advisory Board. In this role, he will serve as an ambassador of Fulton Bank and work to increase the Bank’s understanding of how its products and services can best meet the needs of residents and businesses throughout Hampton Roads. 

Mr. Stauffer will be serving a one-year term on the board, attending monthly meetings along with a group of advisory board members drawn from various businesses in Hampton Roads.

Mr. Stauffer has approximately 40 years of experience litigating complex business matters in state and federal courts, primarily in the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Stauffer has been recognized by Virginia Business magazine on multiple occasions as one of the state’s “Legal Elite” for civil litigation. The Best Lawyers in America has repeatedly recognized Mr. Stauffer as a top lawyer in the areas of Commercial Litigation, Litigation – Banking and Finance, and Litigation – Real Estate. Martindale Hubbell has rated Mr. Stauffer an AV attorney, its highest rating available. Mr. Stauffer received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Pennsylvania State University and his Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary.  Mr. Stauffer serves as President of the Newport News Bar Association and is an instructor at The Mason School of Business, College of William & Mary.
