02.19.2011 Williams Mullen Names James V. Meath Chairman and Keith Kapp Vice Chairman of the Law Firm’s Board of Directors Richmond, VA –February 18, 2011 – Williams Mullen announced that James V. Meath will be chairman of the law firm’s board of directors. Mr. Meath was elected chairman by the firm’s board of directors late Thursday, February 17, 2011. He succeeds Julious P. Smith, Jr., who was board chairman for more than 25 years. Mr. Meath has been with the firm since 1985 and has been vice chairman for five years. The new vice chairman is Keith Kapp who is also managing partner of the firm’s Raleigh, North Carolina office. Mr. Smith has become chairman emeritus.

Mr. Frantz was named chief executive officer in February 2010. In June 2010, the Williams Mullen Center in Richmond was completed and the firm moved its headquarters from the James Center II complex to the new downtown building.
