09.05.2019 Williams Mullen Welcomes Construction Associate Kelsey Gill

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Kelsey Gill has joined the firm as an associate with the Construction Practice in Tysons. Ms. Gill formerly worked as a judicial clerk for The Honorable Kimberly A. Irving in the 31st Judicial Circuit of Virginia.

She represents clients in all phases of a construction project, including construction contract formation and interpretation and change orders. Ms. Gill advises clients with respect to subcontractor claims, including payment and performance bond disputes. She also helps resolve construction disputes, including in litigation at the state and federal levels and before administrative agencies, as well as alternative forms of dispute resolution, to include arbitration and mediation.

She has also completed externships or internships in the Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office in the City of Chesapeake, for the Honorable Elizabeth A. McClanahan at the Supreme Court of Virginia, in the United States Attorney’s Office’s Criminal Division in Norfolk, Virginia, and for The Honorable Lawrence R. Leonard in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Ms. Gill earned her Juris Doctor degree from the William & Mary Law School, where she served as managing editor of the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal and as co-president of the Election Law Society. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Old Dominion University.
