02.28.2013 Williams Mullen Welcomes Real Estate and Finance Attorney Alyssa Carducci Embree

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Alyssa Carducci Embree has joined our firm as an associate in our finance and real estate practice.

Ms. Embree has a wide range of real estate experience that includes the acquisition, disposition and leasing of real property.  She has worked on office, industrial, retail store, shopping center, public housing and mixed use developments, and specializes in ground leasing, retail development, wireless communications and landlord/tenant negotiations.  

In addition, Ms. Embree has experience on the finance side, working on issues involving the financing of real property with permanent or construction loans.  She has represented financial institutions in creditors’ rights and workouts of distressed debt.  She has also represented businesses dealing with bankruptcy and corporate formation and governance issues.

Ms. Embree received her juris doctor from Tulane University Law School and her bachelor of science from Boston College.  Ms. Embree is admitted to practice law in Virginia and Georgia.  She is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Virginia Bar Association, as well as the Norfolk & Portsmouth Bar Association and the Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association.
