Before joining Williams Mullen, Parisa was an associate at Hancock, Daniel & Johnson, P.C. Prior to that, Parisa served as a law clerk for The Honorable Lenore R. Gelfman in the Circuit Court of Howard County.

Parisa serves on the board of The Highland Support Project which empowers indigenous communities by providing opportunities for education, community organization and addressing health and poverty. She earned her Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School where she was an active member of the William & Mary Journal of Women and the Law as well as the Alternative Dispute Resolution Competition Team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Foreign Service, cum laude, from Georgetown University.
