Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that A. Garrett Kelly has joined the Financial Services and Real Estate Section in the firm’s Virginia Beach office.
Kelly works on a large variety of commercial real estate and financing transactions. He represents large national lending institutions, as well as regional and community banks. His practice focuses on representing sellers and purchasers in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, from diligence through closing. He has also worked on a wide range of loan transactions including asset-based loans and commercial real estate loans. In addition, Kelly regularly drafts and negotiates commercial leases, amendments and renewals. Kelly has further experience in commercial litigation involving business disputes. He has defended clients dealing with claims arising under RESPA, FDCPA and FCRA.
Kelly earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law and his Bachelor of Science degree from James Madison University.
