Williams Mullen Represents American National Bankshares, Inc. in its Merger with Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation
The Williams Mullen team, consisting of Scott Richter, Benjamin McCall, Nona Massengill, Lee Lester, Anna Derewenda, Conrad Garcia, McGuire Boyd, Will Halliday, Allison Carlon, Phillip Delano and Nico Balbontin, represented American National Bankshares, Inc. in its merger with Atlantic Union Bankshares Corporation. This transaction increases Atlantic Union’s presence in Central, Western and Southern Virginia and provides a meaningful entry into North Carolina’s Piedmont Triad region and Raleigh.
American National Bankshares Inc. was the parent holding company for American National Bank and Trust Company, a $3.1 billion asset bank established in 1909 with locations in Virginia and North Carolina.
