Our Attorneys of Color Affinity Group exists to encourage the professional development and success of our minority attorneys.

This diverse community engages in internal and external activities that promote personal relationships and professional networks intended to support and enhance their overall experience with the firm. Our members gain and benefit from enhanced connectivity, which directly supports the firm’s longstanding goal of retaining diverse lawyers.

We envision a distinguished legal professional experience because we are valued for our diversity, encouraged to embrace our cultural heritages and identities, and inspired by the opportunities and inclusiveness that Williams Mullen affords us. We instill in one another the desire for self-knowledge, self-direction, self-discipline and extraordinary responsibilities by networking with one another and supporting one another individually and Williams Mullen collectively.

Celebrating Juneteenth

The firm hosted acclaimed chef and author Adrian Miller for a deep dive into the rich history of Juneteenth, a delicious barbeque luncheon across all offices and a raffle for Adrian’s recent book, Black Smoke: African Americans and the United States of Barbecue.

Law Student Opportunities

1L Diversity Fellowship

Our firm awards two 1L law students with scholarships to be applied to the student’s second year tuition and a paid 6-week position in Williams Mullen’s Summer Associate program.
