Richmond Law & Business Forum: Fraud at Theranos

On January 18, Patrick Hanes served as a co-panelist for “Fraud at Theranos,” a discussion hosted by the University of Richmond School of Law that covered former Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes’ charges and recent conviction of defrauding investors in the biggest corporate fraud trial in years.

Patrick was joined by Professor Hank Chambers to discuss the charges against Holmes and what this trial teaches about corporate fraud. The discussion was geared toward students interested in criminal or corporate law.
