Billie Jo Brooks Named to 2025 Class of Unsung Legal Heroes by Virginia Lawyers Weekly
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Billie Jo Brooks, the firm’s chief administrative officer, has been selected as a member of the 2025 class of Unsung Legal Heroes by Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
Brooks oversees office administration, information technology, facilities management, and records and research services. She works closely with executive officers and firm directors to ensure high-quality support in addition to developing and implementing best practices to enhance administrative operations firmwide.
Throughout a career that spans more than 30 years with Williams Mullen, Brooks has held a diverse set of leadership roles, including director of technology and information services, director of knowledge management and director of library services.
Brooks is actively engaged in professional associations, serving as president-elect of the Association of Legal Administrators and as a member of the International Legal Technology Association and the Virginia Association of Law Libraries, demonstrating her dedication to advancing the legal administration and information management professions.
