Williams Mullen Attorney William L. Stauffer, Jr. Elected as President of the Newport News Bar Association
Williams Mullen is proud to announce that Bill Stauffer, co-head of the firm’s Financial Services and Real Estate Litigation sections, became president of the Newport News Bar Association (NNBA) on July 1. His term will run until June 30, 2015. He previously served terms as a Director, Treasurer, and President-Elect of the NNBA.
“It’s an honor and privilege to serve my colleagues as President of the NNBA,” Mr. Stauffer said. “This is a very active organization, with thoughtful leadership and energetic members, serving a key role in the Newport News community, including service to the local bench and area members of the Virginia State Bar.”
The Newport News Bar Association is a voluntary, non-profit, and non-partisan organization composed of local attorneys, judges, and associate members (who are licensed by the Virginia State Bar, but do not maintain an office or live in Newport News). Over the years, the NNBA has grown to a membership of more than 200 attorneys.
