Williams Mullen Represents Fairstead in the Redevelopment of Three Communities in Chesapeake
The Williams Mullen team led by Alyssa Dangler, with Dana Joss, Gaby Brill and Conrad Garcia, represented Fairstead in the acquisition and renovation of three affordable housing communities in Chesapeake, Virginia – Peaceful Village, MacDonald Manor and Landmark Apartments.
Peaceful Village, a 65-unit community, and Landmark Apartments, a 120-unit community, were funded through Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), Project-Based Voucher (PBV) programs and Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) in collaboration with U.S. Bank, Berkadia, Freddie Mac, Virginia Housing and Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA).
Working in partnership with the CRHA, Virginia Housing and Hudson Housing Capital, the rehabilitation of MacDonald Manor, a six-building, 152-unit community, was financed through a federal program that combines elements of the RAD and Section 18 programs.
The properties are undergoing comprehensive renovations focused on improving operating efficiencies while elevating the resident experience.
