Grady Palmer Helps Kotarides Development Earn Rezoning Approval for Chesapeake Mixed-Use Development

On May 21, 2019, a proposal to build a brewery, condo, houses and industrial center in Chesapeake was approved by Chesapeake’s City Council.

Williams Mullen land use attorney Grady Palmer represented the developer, Kotarides Development, during the rezoning process. With the approval, the zoning will change from business and agricultural use to a planned-unit development. Plans currently call for a 430-acre development with 84 homes, 200 senior apartments and 540 condos.
