Mr. Kulik is the fifth intellectual property attorney to join the firm in the past two years. He is an intellectual property attorney with more than 20 years of experience representing domestic and international clients in a variety of industries.

“We’re excited to welcome David to our practice,” Intellectual Property Practice chair Craig Mytelka said. “His background and experience allow us to further enhance our intellectual property capabilities in Tysons Corner and throughout our footprint.”

Mr. Kulik has represented clients in District Court litigation and throughout the full scope of patent and trademark procurement activities, including patent and trademark appeals and patent interferences and post grant proceedings. His practice includes patent, trademark and copyright counseling in industries and markets where regulatory issues and government agencies play an important role, such as those where regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives; the Food and Drug Administration; the Department of State; the Federal Aviation Administration; or the Environmental Protection Agency affect the client’s market or product.

Mr. Kulik is a member of the District of Columbia Bar and the California Bar. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego, and completed a Graduate Research Fellowship in molecular biology and biophysics at Northwestern University.
