Williams Mullen Bolsters LEI and FRE Sections with New Attorneys

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Scott Terrell and Chris Trusk have joined the firm. Mr. Terrell will be joining the firm’s Labor, Employment & Immigration Section in the Virginia Beach office, and Mr. Trusk will be joining the Finance & Real Estate Section in the Raleigh office.

Mr. Terrell assists clients on a variety of labor and employment matters, as well as general employment litigation, including wage and hour, discrimination, employment torts and contract claims, at both the state and federal court and administrative agency levels.

Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Terrell worked as an associate at a New York-based law firm. Earlier in his legal career, Mr. Terrell clerked for District Judge Dale S. Fischer and for Magistrate Judge Karen L. Stevenson, both in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. He also worked for four years in the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office, serving in the Trial Bureau and in the Appeals Bureau.

Mr. Terrell earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Virginia School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Morehouse College. He is licensed to practice in New York, but not yet licensed to practice in Virginia.

Mr. Trusk represents lenders in the negotiation and documentation of commercial loans, as well as investors, businesses and developers in the financing, acquisition, sale and development of commercial property.

He earned his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was the articles editor for the South Carolina Law Review and assisted Columbia area nonprofit organizations with the Nonprofit Organizations Clinic. Mr. Trusk earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Clemson University.
