Williams Mullen Welcomes Export Controls Attorney Rosanne Jacuzzi

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Rosanne Jacuzzi, an experienced Export Controls and ITAR attorney, has joined the International Team as a Partner. She will be working out of the Washington, D.C. office.
 
Rosanne Jacuzzi has more than 12 years of experience advising companies on compliance with export controls and international trade law, including U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Controls (OFAC) regulations, and similar requirements of other countries. Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Rosanne served as International Trade Counsel to Tyco International and, following the companies’ merger, Pentair Ltd. In that role, she managed the company’s export and sanctions compliance program and provided advice, support and training to the global business units on compliance with the laws and regulations governing global export controls, sanctions and customs laws. She also filed license applications and blocking reports, as required under OFAC sanction programs, drafted license applications for export of ITAR and EAR-controlled products and technology, and prepared requests for classification determination filed with Bureau of Industry and Security, Customs and non-US regulatory authorities.
 
Rosanne earned her Juris Doctor in International Business, Trade, and Tax Law from the William Mitchell College of Law. She also earned an M.S. in Business Administration from California State University.
