Woody Fowler Quoted in Virginia Business Story on Virginia Secretary of Commerce & Trade Brian Ball

On Aug. 30, 2018, Virginia Business published a profile of Virginia Secretary of Commerce & Trade Brian Ball, who worked as an attorney at Williams Mullen for nearly 30 years before leaving for a role in Governor Northam's administration earlier this year. Williams Mullen President and CEO Woody Fowler provided insight on Brian's career and why he believes his background serves him well in his new position.

“I think he has valuable experience in seeing how deals really come together — what it takes to do a transaction. And not just the bigger-picture stuff, but also the finer points of what it takes to get a deal done,” Fowler says. “In his role as secretary of commerce and trade, that is what we want him doing, getting deals done for the commonwealth.”
