Benjamin M. Winkelmann

Benny Winkelmann represents public and private companies in corporate and transactional matters, with an emphasis on the senior housing industry. 

As a member of the firm's Senior Housing Transactions Team, he assists with acquisitions and dispositions of senior housing facilities, due diligence, transaction documentation, and other transactional and regulatory matters. Before joining the firm, Benny served as a Utilities Attorney in the Office of General Counsel at the Virginia State Corporation Commission, where he gained experience advising on complex legal and regulatory issues.

In the year prior to law school Benny lived in Israel working as an ambassador representing 11 southeastern Jewish communities in Hadera-Eiron for JAFI. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Cincinnati.
