Brooke E. Schmitt

Brooke Schmitt represents businesses and individuals in a variety of commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts. 

She assists clients with disputes involving business contracts, products liability claims, insurance coverage issues, regulatory and compliance matters, and other complex legal issues, helping them navigate the litigation process and develop practical strategies to achieve their legal and business objectives. Before joining Williams Mullen, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Joseph F. Anderson, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina.

She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where she was a production editor for the South Carolina Law Review, a member of the Order of the Coif, Chief Justice of the Order of the Wig and Robe, and was awarded the Dean’s Medallion. She received her Bachelor of Arts degrees from Fairmont State University where she was a member of the softball team.
