Julianna D. Coppage*
Julie Coppage represents clients at every stage of complex civil litigation. She endeavors to gain an understanding of her clients’ businesses and develop strategies and approaches to litigation that harmonize with her clients’ priorities. She has played an integral role in several pharmaceutical and vaccine product liability and mass tort matters and has achieved favorable results for her clients from the pleadings stage up through appeals. She enjoys working with company and expert scientific witnesses and has authored multiple dispositive and Daubert motions and participated in the depositions of many principal parties.
Before joining Williams Mullen, Julie worked at an AmLaw 100 national law firm. She also has experience working in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, where she worked as a paralegal supporting trial teams in cases involving internet crimes.
Julie earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she was a member of the Moot Court, served on the editorial staff of the Georgetown Law Technology Review and participated in a year-long Criminal Justice Clinic. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Barnard College of Columbia University, where she competed on the Columbia University Mock Trial team.
