Williams Mullen Attorneys Present at 2026 NC Manufacturers Alliance Conference

Williams Mullen attorneys Ethan Ware, Sean Sullivan and Ryan Trail attended the 2026 North Carolina Manufacturers Alliance Environmental, Energy, Health & Safety School, which brings together manufacturing professionals to discuss current environmental, energy, health and safety issues. Williams Mullen was proud to be a sponsor of this event. 

Ware presented “PFAS in Waste Streams – What Manufacturers Need to Know Now,” addressing the increasing challenges manufacturers face in managing PFAS-containing waste and evolving regulatory expectations. He also served as chair for the Waste Management sessions.

Trail served as a session chair and moderator for the Waste Management sessions, including “Hazardous Waste 101- Container Management Basics and What to Expect when you are inspected” and “Enforcement Trial at the NCOAH – Maybe We Should Just Fight.” Sullivan served as the presenter for the latter session which was a mock environmental enforcement case exploring the administrative enforcement process and strategic considerations for negotiating, settling or challenging an enforcement action.
