Amanda Bird-Johnson Named to 2025 Class of “Up & Coming Lawyers” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Amanda Bird-Johnson, senior associate in its Litigation Section, has been named to the 2025 class of "Up & Coming Lawyers" by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. Johnson and 20 other Virginia lawyers are being honored in this year's class.
Bird-Johnson represents clients in complex commercial litigation matters at the state and federal levels, including regulatory proceedings, investigations and administrative matters. She counsels businesses and individuals on litigation-avoidance strategies, prepares clients for the litigation process and navigates legal issues alongside clients to help find solutions and achieve results.
Bird-Johnson is an active leader in the Richmond Bar Association, where she co-chaired the 2024 Bench-Bar Conference. She also served as chair of the Virginia Bar Association’s National Moot Court Committee. Her work reflects both deep engagement in the local bar and significant contributions to statewide legal initiatives.
The "Up & Coming Lawyers" program honors attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional promise during their first 10 years in the legal profession. The program highlights individuals whose accomplishments and dedication mark them as emerging leaders in the field. Virginia Lawyers Weekly will celebrate honorees who are “Up & Coming Lawyers” and “Leaders in the Law” at a reception and awards program in late October.
