Williams Mullen Elects Grant Allison Partner in Raleigh
Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Raleigh attorney R. Grant Allison has been elected partner, effective Feb. 1.
Allison is a member of the firm’s Corporate Section and focuses his practice on representing privately held companies, founders and investors in a wide variety of corporate and transactional matters. He has assisted with transactions and provided guidance to clients in the technology, manufacturing, agribusiness, life sciences and insurance industries. He also counsels clients on strategic and protective planning matters such as choice of entity and related tax issues, fundraising matters and the protection of their intellectual property.
In recognition of his legal work, Allison is listed among Best Lawyers®– “Ones to Watch” (2021–present) and has been named to North Carolina Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” (2021–present).
He serves as treasurer on the board of directors of NeighborHealth Center, Inc., a community health center formed to address the growing number of people in Wake County without access to health care.
Allison received his Juris Doctor degree from Campbell University School of Law as well as a Master of Trust and Wealth Management from Campbell University School of Business. He earned his Bachelor of Science from North Carolina State University.
