Williams Mullen Strengthens Litigation Capabilities with Addition of Darrell Getman

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Darrell J. Getman has joined the firm’s Litigation Section as an associate in its Richmond office.

Getman represents individuals and organizations facing complex civil litigation, including matters involving constitutional law and business torts. He guides clients through every stage of the litigation process in both state and federal courts—from pre-suit investigations and drafting pleadings, to conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and advocating in court and in alternative dispute resolution settings.

Getman previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable David J. Novak of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.

Getman earned his Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from William & Mary Law School and his Bachelor of Arts degree, summa cum laude, from SUNY Geneseo.
