Jenny Wang helps companies protect and defend their most valuable technologies in high-stakes patent disputes where innovation, market share, and competitive positioning are on the line. She represents clients in complex patent litigation and post-grant proceedings, guiding them through strategic enforcement and defense of their intellectual property (IP) rights.

Jenny works with clients across telecommunications, wireless technologies, life sciences, and consumer products, with particular experience in disputes involving standard-essential patents (SEPs) and cutting-edge technologies. She represents clients before U.S. district courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB), helping them navigate multi-forum disputes with a coordinated, business-focused approach.

As a key member of trial teams, Jenny has deep experience across all phases of litigation, including:

  • Pre-suit investigations and case strategy
  • Claim construction and motion practice
  • Fact and expert discovery
  • Expert report development and deposition preparation
  • Trial and post-trial briefing

Clients rely on Jenny for her ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, persuasive arguments. She works closely with technical experts to analyze infringement and invalidity positions, develop expert reports, and prepare testimony, ensuring that technical evidence aligns with overall litigation strategy.

In addition to litigation, Jenny advises clients on proactive IP protection and enforcement strategies, helping them mitigate risk and strengthen their competitive position before disputes arise. Her experience in PTAB inter partes (IPRs) proceedings further enables her to integrate administrative challenges into broader litigation and business strategies.

With a background in biology and training in bioethics and science policy, Jenny brings a multidisciplinary perspective to complex disputes involving scientific and emerging technologies.

Jenny earned her Juris Doctor degree, magna cum laude, from Duke University School of Law, where she was a David W. Ichel Duke Leadership Law Scholar and a staff editor of the Duke Law Journal. She also holds a Master of Arts degree in Bioethics and Science Policy and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Duke University.
