Williams Mullen Represents Dogwood State Bank in its Merger with TowneBank
The Williams Mullen team consisting of David Paulson, Scott Richter, Ben McCall and Lee Lester (corporate), Nona Massengill and Allison Carlon (employee benefits), and Conrad Garcia, Anna Derewenda and Philip Delano (tax) represented Dogwood State Bank in its merger with TowneBank. At announcement, the stock for stock exchange was valued at approximately $476 million.
The transaction closed January 12, 2026. With the merger, TowneBank expands its market position in North Carolina and enters the South Carolina banking market.
