Emily Bowles Named to 2026 Class of “Up & Coming Lawyers” by Virginia Lawyers Weekly

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that Emily K. Bowles, senior associate in the firm’s Health Care Section, has been named to the 2026 class of "Up & Coming Lawyers" by Virginia Lawyers Weekly. She joins 25 other Virginia lawyers being honored in this year’s class.

Bowles advises clients on healthcare regulatory, compliance and transactional matters, with an emphasis on representing behavioral health and substance use disorder providers throughout Virginia. Prior to joining Williams Mullen, she served as an associate director at the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services, where she gained extensive regulatory experience.

Outside of her legal practice, Bowles serves on the board of directors of the Goochland Family YMCA and frequently volunteers with local initiatives supporting families facing food and housing insecurity.

The "Up & Coming Lawyers" program honors attorneys who have demonstrated exceptional promise during their first 10 years in the legal profession. For the complete list of Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s “Up & Coming Lawyers,” click here.
