Williams Mullen Forms Energy, Environment and Regulatory Section

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce the formation of its Energy, Environment and Regulatory Section, a multidisciplinary team providing clients with practical, business-oriented legal solutions at the intersection of energy, environmental and regulatory law.

The Energy, Environment and Regulatory Section brings together experienced attorneys from across the firm to deliver deep industry insight, efficient coordination and counsel that anticipates regulatory and project development demands while keeping clients’ operational and business goals front and center.

“Our clients are operating amid rapidly changing energy demands, environmental expectations and regulatory requirements,” said Woody Fowler, chief executive officer of Williams Mullen. “By bringing our strengths together in a single, integrated section, we’re leveraging our collective experience to benefit our clients.”

The section is chaired by Brad Nowak, a partner based in the firm’s Tysons, Virginia office. “The energy, environmental and regulatory landscape is more interconnected than ever before,” said Nowak. “Whether a client is developing a data center, expanding energy generation, navigating permitting, or responding to regulatory changes, our team can support them from every standpoint.”

Williams Mullen’s Energy, Environment and Regulatory Section advises clients across the energy, data center, manufacturing, natural resources, agriculture and commercial sectors.
