Beth Hungate-Noland focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and corporate governance. She also counsels clients in a variety of industries on joint ventures and other strategic alliances. Beth has extensive experience in conducting complex corporate reorganizations and restructurings, and routinely advises companies on a broad range of general corporate issues.

Beth Hungate-Noland focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, debt and equity financings and corporate governance. She also counsels clients in a variety of industries on joint ventures and other strategic alliances. Beth has extensive experience in conducting complex corporate reorganizations and restructurings, and routinely advises companies on a broad range of general corporate issues.

Beth began her legal career with Williams Mullen in 2003. She rejoined the firm in December 2021 after spending several years serving as a Managing Director at Markel Ventures, where she led acquisitions and supported the Markel Ventures family of companies.

Beth received a Bachelor of Arts degree in criminal justice from Roanoke College and a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from Armstrong Atlantic State University. She received her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she was the senior notes and comments editor of the University of Richmond Law Review. From 2016-2018, Beth taught mergers and acquisitions at the University of Richmond School of Law as an adjunct professor.

Representative Experience:

  • Represented a national provider of long-term care services in a multi-state corporate restructuring and $2.4 billion sale of its real estate assets.  Williams Mullen advised on the restructuring of the operations and spin-off of the real estate assets.
  • Represented a national provider of long-term care services in its acquisition of Sun Healthcare Group, Inc.  Williams Mullen assisted in the areas of due diligence, leasing, financing and structuring.
