Kaitlin represents public and private companies in general corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, entity formation, corporate governance and securities matters.

Her practice focuses on the representation of financial institutions, both public and private, including community banks, bank holding companies, savings institutions, investment banks and broker-dealers.

Kaitlin earned her J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was on the editorial board for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy and the Law. During law school, Kaitlin was the co-director of the National Lawyers Guild and was also a member of Virginia Law Women.

She earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in English and Women and Gender Studies from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she won the Sally B. Young Critical Writing Award.
