Raziye "Raz" A. Henning
Raz Henning is a member of the firm’s Construction Practice Group, where she provides strategic legal guidance to construction companies throughout all phases of complex construction projects.
She has extensive experience advising on contract negotiation, risk management, regulatory compliance, dispute resolution, and litigation for large-scale public and private construction matters, including representing clients in multiple mediations as well as bench and jury trials involving construction-related claims.
Raz works closely with project teams to analyze, draft, and negotiate construction contracts, subcontracts, purchase agreements, and nondisclosure agreements, providing practical legal guidance and risk analysis prior to bid submission.
Raz also brings prior experience as in-house corporate counsel for both a subcontractor and general contractor, where she provided legal guidance on construction and commercial contracts, compliance matters, and business operations across multiple jurisdictions. Earlier in her career, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Michael A. Guadagno (Ret.).
She earned her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from The College of New Jersey.
