Vanessa T. Yearick
Vanessa Yearick assists clients in matters involving securities, public finance and corporate law. Her experience includes offerings of equity and debt securities for privately and publicly held companies, as well as offerings of municipal bonds. Vanessa has assisted clients with a range of business matters, including entity formation, corporate governance and securities law compliance. She also has served as bond counsel, borrower’s counsel and bank counsel in various types of tax-exempt and taxable municipal bond financings.
Vanessa rejoined Williams Mullen after previously practicing with the firm from 2015 to 2020. Before that, she was an associate in the Corporate Finance group at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. She also spent five years teaching in the history department at Norfolk Academy.
Vanessa earned both her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, and her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
