2022 Firearms Industry Conference
Williams Mullen’s Firearms Industry Group and Orchid co-hosted the 8th annual Firearms Industry Conference, April 25-27, 2022, in Atlanta, GA. The conference provided educational sessions on best practices in law, operations, compliance and technology by a team of Williams Mullen’s attorneys, industry professionals, federal government agencies and subject matter experts from across the industry. In total, this leading industry conference series, including pre-conference virtual sessions and pre-conference in-person workshops, welcomed nearly 400 attendees representing 225 companies, six regulatory agencies and over 60 presenters. Notably, ATF executives discussed the Final Rule 2021R-05, “Definition of ‘Frame or Receiver’ and Identification of Firearms,” for the first time since being finalized earlier in April 2022.
