Claire Gross is a corporate attorney who represents companies throughout their lifecycles. She assists with entity formation, corporate governance matters, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and general business and succession planning. She also reviews and negotiates commercial contracts for a wide range of companies across a variety of industries.

Claire additionally has experience representing corporate clients on commercial real estate and land use matters, including the financing, acquisition, leasing and development of properties in the healthcare and renewable energy industries. 

Claire earned her Juris Doctor degree from Washington and Lee University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree, with distinction, from the University of Virginia. During law school, Claire served as a law clerk for the Honorable Paul Black in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Virginia. She also worked for a Virginia based real estate investment company where she assisted with the acquisition and development of commercial and multi-family investment properties.

In her free time, Claire volunteers with New Freedom Farm, a 501(c)(3) organization that aids veterans and first responders through equine therapy, and she is a member of the Cowpasture River Preservation Association and the Natural Bridge Appalachian Trail Club. An avid outdoorswoman, Claire enjoys trail running, horseback riding, fly fishing, and recreational shooting.
