He leverages his background in health care real estate, corporate transactions, and health care regulatory compliance to keep his clients fully advised and to provide them with a complete picture of their transactions.

Before joining Williams Mullen, Tarpley was an associate at a national boutique health care law firm. He has significant experience with an array of corporate real estate transactions, particularly in the health care space, including purchases and sales of licensed health care facilities, complex medical office and hospital campus leasing, real estate secured financing and title/survey review.

Tarpley has been named among Virginia's "Legal Elite" in Real Estate/Land Use (2018-present) and in the Young Lawyer (Under 40) category (2015) by Virginia Business. He earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University School of Law where he also obtained a Transactional Law Certificate from Emory’s Center for Transactional Law and Practice.  While in law school, he clerked at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. In addition, he is a proud Rotarian.
