A. Garrett Kelly

Garrett Kelly works on a large variety of commercial real estate and financing transactions. He represents large national lending institutions, as well as regional and community banks. His practice focuses on representing sellers and purchasers in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, from diligence through closing. He has also worked on a wide range of loan transactions including asset-based loans and commercial real estate loans. Additionally, Garrett regularly drafts and negotiates commercial leases, amendments and renewals.

Garrett has additional experience in commercial litigation resolving business disputes. He has defended clients dealing with claims arising under RESPA, FDCPA and FCRA.

Garrett earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law where he was articles editor for the Richmond Journal of Law and Technology, served on the Honor Council, and was awarded the Auzville Jackson Jr. Award for Excellence in Intellectual Property. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business from James Madison University.
