Ryan is known for his practical and common-sense approach when it comes to negotiating and successfully consummating complex commercial transactions.

In addition to his health care practice, Ryan provides corporate counsel and governance advice to clients in a wide range of industries, including retail, manufacturing, real estate, and financial services.

Ryan received his Juris Doctor degree from the Wake Forest University School of Law, where he served as president of the Student Health Law Association. He also earned an M.B.A. from Wake Forest University and received his Bachelor of Arts in Commerce degree from Washington and Lee University, where he served as captain of the varsity swim team, receiving first-team all-conference distinction his senior year.
