Zachary S. Buckheit

Zach Buckheit’s practice focuses on complex commercial disputes, including contract disputes, commercial lease disputes and defaults, commercial torts cases, and real estate disputes. 

Zach also represents clients in cases involving fraud, misrepresentation, unfair and deceptive trade practices, and misappropriation of trade secrets. Zach also represents members of the firearms industry, including manufacturers, retailers, and government contractors.

Before entering private practice, he was an enlisted Infantryman in the United States Army National Guard, a judicial extern for the North Carolina Business Court, and a legal intern for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Western District of North Carolina.

Zach earned his Juris Doctor degree from Duke University School of Law, where he served as a staff editor of the Duke Journal of Constitutional Law and Public Policy, and his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina.
