Williams Mullen Welcomes Litigation Attorney Jonathan Lucier to the Richmond Office

Williams Mullen is pleased to announce that attorney Jonathan “Jon” Lucier has joined the firm’s Litigation practice as an Associate. Mr. Lucier will be working out of the Richmond office.

Prior to joining Williams Mullen, Mr. Lucier was an Associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP in Washington, D.C., where his practiced focused on complex commercial litigation, including securities fraud, mass tort, and product liability class actions. He also represented public companies and financial institutions in enforcement matters before the Securities Exchange Commission. Prior to joining Kirkland & Ellis, Mr. Lucier served as a law clerk to the Honorable James C. Cacheris, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. He started his law career in New York, as an Associate at Sullivan & Cromwell LLP.

Mr. Lucier earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as Senior Articles Editor of the Virginia Law & Business Review, and his  B.A. in Political Science and Religion, summa cum laude, from Hampden-Sydney College. He is familiar with the Richmond area, having grown up in Chesterfield County.
